Claims Adjuster at LF Dalarnas

As a Claims Adjuster, your mission is to assist our corporate clients who have suffered damages. You receive claims via phone or digital channels, then make assessments and decisions regarding whether the claim is compensable, and what compensation the policyholder is entitled to based on the insurance terms. Your daily work involves being available for our corporate clients on the phone line as well as our group email. You work independently with your cases, but collaboration is an essential part of everyday life – both with colleagues in your team and with other departments within LF Dalarnas. Our mission is to guide the customer through the entire claims process in a professional and engaged manner. This also means coordinating efforts with partners and colleagues to ensure that the customer receives prompt and accurate assistance.

We are 8 claims adjusters with varied experience and expertise working in Corporate Damages. 5 of us work with construction damages and the remaining 3 work with liability and property damages. The group is divided into field technicians and office technicians. The field technicians conduct damage inspections and customer visits throughout the county, while the office technicians primarily work from the office but can go out for customer visits if needed.

You who apply for the position have a high school education, a B driver's license, and good computer skills. Furthermore, you have experience working with claims adjustment and customer service. It is advantageous if you have education in insurance, construction, remediation, or inspection. Additional knowledge in MEPS calculation is a plus. It is highly advantageous if you have experience in claims adjustment for businesses.

In the role of Claims Adjuster, it is important that you are thorough, willing to make your own decisions, and work efficiently with cases without compromising quality. You are self-driven while enjoying teamwork. You express yourself well in speech and writing and are communicatively skilled, meaning you easily adapt your message to the individual and situation. You are a driven person who takes great responsibility for both your own and others' development. You enjoy working towards high goals and contribute with engagement.
